(Totally different to being good at the game by the way) A “Layer” being a feature, mechanic or step in the process of getting a game and “peeling” back a layer means I have successfully accomplished “getting” it. Thus, this is what I am talking about when I say these words. In fact, over the decades, it has become THE fun sometimes just following the “Onion Method” rather than actually playing some games.
